OLYMPIC ACTION TO WATCH ON DAY 13:

Thursday's stage in Beijing is set for the women. Specifically the Americans. Misty May-Treanor and her partner Kerri Walsh go for the gold and 108th straight victory in women's beach volleyball at 3:00(GMT). The women's football final, at 13:00(GMT), is a repeat from the Athens 2004 final between defending champion USA and Brazil. The third final for the US women will be in softball at 10:30(GMT). They take on Japan in a reprise of the Sydney 2000 gold medal game. Finally in semi-final play the Americans square off with Russia at 12:00(GMT)and try for their 31st Olympic win in a row.
