Jamie How of New Zealand bats as Alastair Cook of England fields at short leg (GettyImages)
It`s round 2 of 3 as England and New Zealand head to Old Trafford to fight it out for an advantage in this test series. Rain and bad light played their part in the first test, with England taking the initiative but mother nature helping to even things up. England’s openers will be hoping to repeat some excellent batting from Lords with Andrew Strauss and Allistair Cook both hitting half centuries before Captain Micheal Vaughan came on to hit his record equalling sixth ton at the famous home of cricket. Add to that some superb Ryan Sidebottom bowling and England had found some form. It wasn`t all England though at Lords, and McCullum and Vetorri will be hoping for more of the same from themselves with extra help from the whole team if they’re to take New Zealand to victory up at Old Trafford.
