Fresh from trouncing supposedly the best Test team in the world - Australia - the Indians now take on England in the first of seven one-day internationals. India can arguably claim that Test crown now, but when it comes to ODIs, England are still a fearsome prospect. Having said that, Kevin Pietersen's men have had a mixed warm-up. They comprehensively beat Mumbai, then they were comprehensively thrashed by a President's XI, although Pietersen remained calm. Afterwards he said: "I'm not sure if we were fully focused but this is a really good lesson. I don't see it as a bad thing. What counts is the internationals - we just need to turn our heads on now and make sure we start on Friday."
