The most high profile event on the US racing calendar, the Tour of Missouri opens to record crowds this September. While not considered as mountainous as the Tour de Georgia and the Tour of California, the course is a test of endurance and stamina as it runs across unrelentingly hilly regions from St. Joseph to St. Louis. Get set for some serious racing as the top UCI pros contend over 623 miles and seven action-packed days for the prestigious yellow jersey, which last year was worn by America’s own George Hincapie, who returns this season to defend his title riding with new team High Road.
