The new English Premier League season should be a cracker if the last campaign is anything to go by. Manchester United (with or without Cristiano Ronaldo) will start as red-hot favourites after completing a Premier League and Champions League double. But don't discount regular challengers Chelsea with new manager Luiz Felipe Scolari and Liverpool and Arsenal will surely have a say as well. Many of the middling sides in the league will be looking to break into the coveted Champions League spots in the top four. Manchester City under Mark Hughes and the ever-improving trio of Everton, Aston Villa and Spurs will be the teams to watch. It is often a struggle for promoted teams and Hull City, Stock City and West Bromwich Albion will have their work cut out, although WBA have a good chance of staying up with previous experience of the top-flight and an up-and coming manager in Tony Mowbray.
