Everton have been rubbish at home recently - so they couldn’t have wished for better visitors than Newcastle. The Toon Army are in total crisis, with owner Mike Ashley trying to sell and managerial nobody Joe Kinnear charged with the impossible task of improving results while knowing he will soon be on his way. Someone needs to take a stand but none of the players look capable - apart, maybe, from striker Michael Owen who is still managing to score goals despite being given no service. Everton will be without midfielder Tim Cahill after his harsh red card against Liverpool last weekend. One plus for them is that Louis Saha looked sharp when he came on late in that game and has the class to solve their scoring woes.
