The two winners from the opening games in Group B face off with a win for either almost certainly placing them in the knockout rounds. Croatia were far from convincing in their 1-0 win over co-hosts Austria, Luka Modric scored the only goal from the penalty spot early in the game. Germany saw off Poland thanks to a brace of goals from Lucas Podolski, who ironically was born in Poland. With Gomez and Klose alongside Podolski, Joachim Loew's team looked an attacking threat throughout and only an impressive performance from Artur Boruc kept the Poles in the game. Both Slaven Bilic's side and Germany like to go for the jugular, this should be a game full of goal-mouth action.
