The repeat of the 2006 World Cup final promises to be a match of epic proportions as both sides need to win and hope that Romania fail to beat Holland in the other match in Group D to progress. Les Bleus have been fairly disappointing so far, drawing 0-0 with Romania and they were comprehensively beaten by the Netherlands 4-1. Roberto Donandoni's side have been on the end of some fairly poor refereeing in this tournament, the decision to disallow Luca Toni's goal in the first half against Romania could cost them a place in the quarter-finals. Nevertheless, the Azzurri have not played as they did in Germany two years ago and could well finish bottom of the group. With at least one team being eliminated, if not both, this game should be a cracker.
