The reigning Premier League and Champions League holders play their last pre-season friendly before they face Portsmouth in the Charity Shield on Sunday. On Saturday, in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's testimonial, they overcame Espanyol thanks to a late goal from Frazier Campbell who has shown the importance of these pre-season games as it appears he has played his way into the thoughts of manager Sir Alex Ferguson. Juventus took part in the Emirates Cup and although they beat Arsenal 1-0 they lost to Hamburg 3-0 in their second game. Claudio Ranieri will be looking for his team to step up their preparation for the new Serie A season which begins at the end of August.
