This match is a testimonial for Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who retired due to persistent injury last season. The Norwegian striker scored the winner in the 1999 Champions League final and is a firm favourite at Old Trafford and a big crowd is expected. The current Champions League and Premier League holders are looking in fine form during the pre-season even without the injured Cristiano Ronaldo. In their last game, United saw off Portsmouth 2-1 in Nigeria and Espanyol, who are a few weeks behind the Red Devils may struggle to keep up with Sir Alex Ferguson's side who are closing in on full fitness.
