Sir Alex Ferguson takes his star studded Manchester United side to face the team managed by his son and former Red Devil, Darren Ferguson. This is the second consecutive pre-season friendly for the Posh against Premier League opposition, they went down 2-0 to West Ham on Wednesday night and by all accounts produced a good display which bodes well for their upcoming season in League One. This match is one of two for Manchester United this week as they build up to their Charity Sheild encounter with Portsmouth at Wembley on Sunday as they build up to a season in which they will defend their Premier League and Champions League crowns.
