The Algarve Cup continues with a match-up between Wales' finest side and SPL Champions Celtic. The Bluebirds won their first game of the pre-season tournament against Portuguese hosts Guimaraes 2-1 and were indebted to new signing Ross McCormack who scored both goals. Celtic were lucky to come away from their game with a draw against Middlesbrough. Jeremie Aliaidiere had put Boro in front early in the first period only for Jan Vennegoor of Hesseelink to head home the equaliser two minutes into stoppage time. Cardiff, last years FA Cup finalists will be eager to prepare well for the Championship which starts in just a few weeks from now.
