Two of the darkhorses for the tournament, play off in the first knockout round and a win for either would send confidence soaring. Croatia won all three games in Group B and surprised many by beating Germany and topping the group. After a defeat to Portugal in their opener, Turkey have established themselves as the comeback kings of Euro 2008. They came from behind to beat Switzerland and in their final group game produced a sensational comeback late on to see off the Czech Republic in one of the most dramatic games in international football history. The main attacking threats for Turkey are Villareal striker Nihat and left winger Arda Turan. Croatia will rely on the trickery and skill from Luka Modric and Niko Kranjcar.
