The Barclays leads off the PGA Tour's new playoff system for the FedEx Cup at the Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, New Jersey. There will be a $7,000,000 purse up for grabs and the lucky winner gets to walk away with a winning share of $1,260,000. Expect an excellent and exciting week of golf as this event has the habit of producing surprise winners and much drama. American Steve Stricker proved this point when he came out of nowhere to win here in 2007 by two strokes over South Korean K.J. Choi for his fourth PGA Tour victory and first win in six years.
