The 2008 BMW Championship is now wide open due to a knee injury that ended the season for the defending champion Tiger Woods. This tournament debuted for the first time in 2007, after replacing the Western Open. The top seventy FedEx Cup points leaders will square off at the beautifully designed Robert Trent Jones golf course at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, Missouri. As a part of the FedEx Cup playoff events on the PGA Tour schedule, the Top 30 FedEx Cup points leaders following the tournament advance to the Tour Championship in September.
