Jim Furyk of the USA hits his tee shot on the 18th hole (GettyImages)
Hot off the trail of the British Open Championship, the RBC Canadian Open tees off this July at the Glen Abbey Golf Club in Ontario. Outside of the majors, the event is one of the most well regarded and accessible non-US events on the PGA Tour calender. Two-time winner Jim Furyk returns for a third season to defend his title, but has yet to contend with the change of venue to the Jack Nicklaus-designed field at the Glen Abbey. Ironically enough, the Canadian Open is the most prestigious event that Jack Nicklaus has never won. Vijay Singh was the last Glen Abbey Canadian Open champ, taking out the last 2004 title there.
