It was a thrilling roulette of a race in Monte Carlo, and the gamble is set to intensify this June at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal. There's always room for surprises, as Lewis Hamilton will testify after his crash at the Tabac exit on lap six ultimately turned the Monaco Grand Prix in his favour. The decision to refuel allowed him to switch to a one-stop strategy and last until the later stages of the game where he sailed through to victory 3 seconds ahead of Robert Kubica. McLaren are hoping his Midas touch will carry over to Montreal, the site of his first ever record breaking win during his rookie season last year. Robert Kubica on the other hand doesn't have such fond memories of the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, after his violent crash into a wall last year left him with concussion and his car in pieces. Adrian Sutil is also hoping Montreal will bring better luck than Monaco did, after losing out on precious fourth position and first-ever points for Force India when Kimi Räikkönen shocked the crowd and ploughed into his rear in the closing stages of the race. Buckle up. More thrills, spills and action are in store for this summer.
