Just past the halfway mark for the season and tensions are mounting to an all-time high as the BTCC returns to Snetterton this July. If last year is anything to go by, fans are bracing themselves for another action-packed season. 2007 saw Gordon Sheddon celebrating when Colin Turkington was stripped of number one for racing an under-weight car, and arch rivals Jason Plato race 2 winner Fabrizio Giovanardi run each other off the track. Tom Onslow-Cole also scored the first breakthrough win of his career in race 3.
