Jonny Wilkinson takes a penalty kick during the Rugby World Cup 2007 Semi Final match between England and France (gettyimages.com)
The first semi final between England and France featured all the high drama and action you would expect from a World Cup semi final. England showed great resilience and determination to edge out France in the race for a place in the final, thanks predominantly to the man called Wilko. Even though he missed a couple, he did produce when it mattered most and sealed the game with a drop goal in the dying few minutes. The French will now set their sights on the less than desirable bronze final, while the English march on to their second successive Rugby World Cup final appearance to face either Argentina or South Africa. Can they do it again? Catch the action Live Online.
