OLYMPIC ACTION TO WATCH ON DAY 14:
Seven events/races for medals are taking place in Athletics on Friday. There has been tremendous excitment from the track in Beijing. The 4x100m men's final will be taking place live at 14:20(GMT). It's unfortunate that the defending Olympic champs, Great Britain, were disqualified for a bad baton exchange during Thursday's preliminary race. After the Jamaican dominance in sprinting, they are the obvious favorites.
There are some big semi-final matches in team sports. The men will take the courts in basketball and volleyball. The US plays Russia in volleyball, and Argentina in basketball. Both are expected to be great contests.

OLYMPIC ACTION TO WATCH ON DAY 15:
Day 15 might as well be called "Medal Day." That is because 15 different sports will be competing for a total of 31 medals. It is the largest amount of medals to be awarded in one day. Every event is for a medal on Saturday!
Athletics, canoe/kayak, and boxing combine for more then half of the day's finals with seven, six and five respectively. Most of the days attention will be on the soccer pitch where the talented men from Argentina look to win their second Olympic gold in a row. Nigeria beat Argentina 3-2 in the Atlanta Olympic's final and will be trying to be the spoilers again at 4:00(GMT). In women's basketball, American Lisa Leslie will be looking for her forth straight Olympic gold. The USA plays Australia for the third Games final in a row at 14:00(GMT). Brazil will play the United States in the Women's Volleyball final at 12:00(GMT), while China faces Cuba in the bronze medal match at 4:30(GMT). In Men's Hockey, the Netherlands will play Australia at 10:00(GMT)in a bronze medal game that is also a rematch of the Athens final (which Australia won), before Germany and Spain compete for the gold at 12:30(GMT).

OLYMPIC ACTION TO WATCH ON DAY 8:
Saturday has some huge events on tap. The world's fastest man will be decided in the 100m race, Michael Phelps goes for his 7th gold on his mission for the elusive record of 8, the USA men's basketball team faces Spain, and the men's football quater-finals get under way.
The men's 100m will crown the fastest man on the planet on Saturday, 14:30(GMT). Usain Bolt (Jamaica), Tyson Gay (USA), and Asafa Powell (Jamaica) are all capable of breaking the world record. Don't blink because these speedsters are expecting to produce a thriller at the Olympic Stadium (a.k.a. The Nest).
There is also plenty of medal matches on the tennis court for Day 8. Gold medal matches for women's singles and men's doubles. And bronze competitions in men's singles, and women's singles and doubles.

OLYMPIC ACTION TO WATCH ON DAY 9:
Day 9 brings another big day of events in Beijing. But for Michael Phelps, it is the biggest day of his life. On Saturday he tied Mark Spitz's record of seven gold medals in one Olympic. Spitz's impressive record, set in Munich, stood for 36 years. Is Sunday the day Phelps does the impossible? He has looked like a man of destiny in the pool. The world will be watching Phelps race in the 4x100 medley relay at 2:58(GMT) 4x100.
41 year old Dara Torres' name has gotten lost in the wake of Phelps, but she also will be swimming for a medal in the 50m freestyle at 2:03(GMT). In tennis, both the men and women compete for gold. A Russian will win the gold on the woman's side. That is because country-women Elana Dementieva and Dinara Safina play each other at 6:00(GMT). Rafael Nadal looks to bring Spain a gold when he takes on Argentinian, Fernando Gonzalez at 7:30(GMT). On the track, the women hope they can have as a dramatic 100m race as the men did on Saturday. The planet's fastest women take off at 13:25(GMT). Right after that, at 14:00(GMT), the final race of the day will be the men's 10K.

Great Britain will be on the cycling track at 10:15(GMT) for the gold medal in team pursuit against Denmark. Another exciting medal match will be going on at the table tennis venue. The final day of Track Cycling could be the best yet for Great Britain, which has dominated the past four days. Team GB have already secured five gold medals but will fancy their chances in each of the last day's three finals. British hopes will be high at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center, too, with medal races in the Laser (Men's One Person Dinghy) and Laser Radial (Women's One Person Dinghy).

OLYMPIC ACTION TO WATCH ON DAY 12:
Jamaican Usain Bolt will have the opportunity to take the sprint double when he lines up at the Men's 200m final on Wednesday, August 20 at 14:20(GMT). No athlete has won the Men's 100m and 200m in Athletics in the same Olympic Games since Carl Lewis of the United States achieved the feat in Los Angeles in 1984.
There is also exciting quarter-final action in the men's basketball and water polo. And the women heat are down to the semi's in hockey. Thursday's stage in Beijing is set for the women. Specifically the Americans. Misty May-Treanor and her partner Kerri Walsh go for the gold and 108th straight victory in women's beach volleyball at 3:00(GMT). The women's football final, at 13:00(GMT), is a repeat from the Athens 2004 final between defending champion USA and Brazil. The third final for the US women will be in softball at 10:30(GMT). They take on Japan in a reprise of the Sydney 2000 gold medal game. Finally in semi-final play the Americans square off with Russia at 12:00(GMT)and try for their 31st Olympic win in a row.

OLYMPIC ACTION TO WATCH ON DAY 7:
After one day off Michael Phelps is back in the pool on Day 7. Phelps' mission continues at 2:48(GMT) when he goes for his sixth gold in Beijing. He has been perfect in his first five competitions, breaking five world records. Today will be his second toughest challenge, the 200m individual relay. Also making waves for the American swim team on Friday is five time Olympian Dara Torres. The 41 year old is the only woman over the age of 40 to ever swim in the Olympics. Watch her compete at 10:51(GMT) in the 50m freestyle.
Athletics fans can draw their attention to the track. This is the first day of athletics events.
