Justine Henin of Belgium celebrates with the International Women's Open trophy (GettyImages)
Attracting many of the top women on the WTA tour, the International Women's Open is the biggest women’s tournament in Britain and is one of the top 30 tournaments in world tennis. All of the action takes place outdoors on the grass courts of Devonshire Park. In the 2007 final, Amelie Mauresmo of France gave it her all in an epic struggle before losing against former world number one Justine Henin who took the title back home to Belgium. French Open champion in 2008 and new world number one, Ana Ivanovic leads the field this year.
