The Pattaya Women's Open is the only event on the WTA tour that is held in Thailand. The tournament has singles and doubles competitions, played on hardcourts. Great names such as Conchita Martinez, Patty Schnyder, Shahar Pe'er and Sybile Bammer have won the title in recent years.
